What Teachers Are Saying

Tristan unlocks the creative spirit, and encourages young writers to explore and have fun with their writing. I'd recommend StorySchool to every educator out there as a vital step in helping students, even reluctant ones, to discover their creative spark.

It is so well thought out and planned. I am really impressed with the inclusion of the teacher notes and the suggestions for accelerated learning and low literacy students. I also feel we are getting very good value for money.
Ngaire Brown
Teacher-Librarian, Kolbe Catholic College
Tristan Bancks' StorySchool has brought a breath of fresh air to my writing program. Students applaud and cheer when they see StorySchool on our schedule! The videos are fast paced and engaging, fostering deep enthusiasm for writing in the children, as well as equipping them to get their ideas on paper. Even previously reluctant writers are getting caught up in the excitement and having a go. I would highly recommend this program to any teacher.

They were constantly challenged to edit, rewrite and edit again which was not only good for their language skills, but also great for injecting new life into plots and characters?
Kerry Gittins

There is always great excitement when I tell them we are doing a new episode. I really like how each lesson is independent. It allows for flexibility in a busy curriculum. Thank you for enhancing our learning!
Deb Croft
All Hallows' School, Queensland
We have had children, who are very reluctant writers, having a go at writing after engaging for several weeks with the videos. e.g. One boy, who would rather be fishing, started the program with an eyeroll and his head on the desk. He didn't write much for the first few lessons. By about lesson 10, he was starting to get a few ideas down. By Lesson 15 he wrote a page and a half. His teacher and I were so excited!! StorySchool is really worth it
